Optimization of Polyurethane Membrane Physical Characteristics of Red Seaweed Biomass Using a Box-Behnken Design

چکیده

The polyurethane membrane is used as a separator either by filtration or adsorption, and this process significantly affected its strength physical condition. We synthesized membranes using red seaweed with Gracilaria sp hydroxyl source. Box-Behnken Design of the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) Software Expert Version 10.0.3.0 three factors (TRL, TDI, Glycerin). F-value 0.42 suggests that less fit, while P-value 75.10% indicates quadratic design model suitable for data analysis characteristics. optimal characteristics were obtained at composition 0.233 g TRL, 2.675 0.254 glycerin point 6.5 (strong elastic). Optimal has good thermal mechanical properties temperatures Tg 58 °C, Tm 322 Td 534 well stress nominal strain values 69.3 MPa 5.74%.
